The Pope broke with tradition and bowed to Muslim Queen Rania of Jordan while she and her husband, King Abdullah, visited the Pope at the Vatican. Protocol usually dictates that visitors to the Vatican bow to him, not the other way around.

okay I’ve actually seen some people complaining about this move, so let me drop some real talk on ya.

Pope’s the guy who takes over the Catholic Church, after the previous Pope, etc etc etc up to St. Peter, who got the keys to the shop from the big J-Man himself. So some people are like “YO HE’S REPPIN JESUS LIKE HE’S BELOW SOME HUMAN” but they got this shit all backwards, because one of the biggest ideals in Christianity (that a lot of Christians seem to miss) is “do like Jesus do.” And Jesus went around washing his disciple’s FEET. Because he was classy as hell and humble as fuck.

So basically, this Pope is ballerama because he’s doing like Jesus do, being classy and humble and the haters can get behind me.
